The 2013 program will take into account experiences from the 2011 and 2012 editions as well as the feedback from past participants as well as continuing to promote the Living History Charter.
The French troops will be bivouaced at the village of Craonnelle, where the French launched their attack on the Allies on March 7th, 1814. The Allies will be camped at the village of Craonne itself, at the foot of the famous "Chemin des Dames" of the First World War.
The engagements will take place around the streets and woods of Craonnelle on the Saturday, whilst the Sunday will see combat between the two forces along the Chemin des Dames at Craonne.
We encourage and welcome all volunteers to discover this event, which gets bigger and better every year and also explore one of the great battlefields of the 1814 French campaign as well as the First World War.

No problem Victor. I knew it would be a difficult one for you but as a wise man once said: "You don't ask then you don't get."
Perhaps another time.
Sorry Marc,
I already have a Family Event scheduled for that weekend!
