DATES: April 17 – 19, 2009
LOCATION:
TORRANCE, PA


The event will take place on approximately 1000 acres with a network of roads and bridges connecting period buildings against a backdrop of the rolling hills of Southwestern PA. This is a rustic setting with dilapidated buildings with limited space available. Tenting is strongly recommended.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
·1 Registration opens at 1200 (noon), Friday, April 17
·2 Tactical scenario begins at 0430, Saturday, April 18
·3 Tactical scenario concludes at 1400, Saturday, April 18
·4 Event concludes at 1200 (noon), Sunday, April 19
EVENT SCENARIO:



Paratroopers will be misdropped during pre-dawn hours and will secure strategic objectives on the massive battlefield that are held by German forces prior to Allied infantry moving in from the beaches. There are sensitive timetables that must be kept. Additionally, each side will be combing the countryside searching for downed pilots.

Jacob, what more do you want to learn about the SS? Training, history, units that weren't so nice? It's the SS so not going to be a nice clean history. The 5th SS Wiking on the other hand does have a clean record.

Do get online but with two unit sites, store site, 5 forums, 20+ yahoo groups and then the real world of grading, etc. plus a baby doesn't leave a lot of time to get to this site.
