I would work the streets to earn the moolah for one of Dickie's uniforms!

Hi Steve

Very sorry about that, it cost me over £35 per metre to buy.......  as a supplier of uniforms & equipment, it's much better for me to sell the completed item than the cloth on it's own.

Comment by steve baker on May 13, 2012 at 17:04

cheers anyway, but the reasons you gave for not selling it are the reasons I was interested :0)

Hi Steve

Sorry, I don't sell the cloth , I make uniforms from it for WW1 & WW2.

It's taken me over 8 years of talking with the UK supplier to get it from the drawing board to production......

how  much is it per metre?

Hi Gary,

I've made an SD cap from the cloth, it's on my web site..

I do have some other very good serge which is ideal for making SD cap from as it's a little thinner that the 1916 cloth I have, I'm more than happy to send you samples to view.

Please e-mail me your address details and I'll get some off to you.
