Ex Military, a good few years done, been reenacting for about 5 years, previously British Cavalry from Napoleonic period. Now moved onto British Navy from the same era, and any other era that might be enjoyable.
The reason I was curious was because we are in the process of organizing a group here in Plymouth. We have two Montague Whalers which we are currently working on. The first one had a mishap two years ago at a pirate event and is currently being refitted! The second one needs some badly needed restoration and is having to take a back seat for now.
Have you heard about the Napoleonic Maritime Festival in Jersey, that is being planned for next year? It is being organized by the Marins De La Garde, based in St Malo. Would be nice to secure HMS Pickle for it!

Just remaking my 95th Pelisse, but I'm after some pictures of the cavalry version which they copied the style.
Do you have any photo's of an original or good reproduction I could see, mainly interested in the areas such as collar/ cuffs/ inside so I can see its construction?
